Barbed Wire Baseball is a picture book about Japanese American baseball player Kenich Zenimura. This is a story about how he built a baseball field from scratch in Gila River Japanese internment camp during WW2, bringing hopes and dreams to people even during the toughest of times.
This is a very first children’s book I have illustrated. Published April 2013 from Abrams Books.
Written by Marissa Moss, editor: Howard Reeves, AD: Chad Beckerman
